Sydney had started her first year at Alice Lloyd and Ben was in his second. He first noticed her working the same 7 am shift in the Cafeteria, but she didn't notice him. They worked together for two weeks.

Ben and Sydney officially met in November while playing as pull partners in the Perry Campus Center. They then spent the next two days together before she was sent home to quarantine for COVID-19 for two weeks.

They would spend the next two weeks talking on the phone. During this time, they became official and Sydney told Ben she loved him and he said he loved her too. When she finally returned to Alice Lloyd, they went on their official first date.

Sydney and Ben immediately met each other's families and Ben spent Christmas at Sydney's home. Both make instant connections with each other's family and siblings.

Ben and Sydney travel to Pittsburgh with a friend to meet one of her favorite families.

Ben and Sydney went on their first family vacation with the Duncans.

Ben convinced Sydney to go to her first Haunted House with some friends. It did not go well.

Ben and Sydney attend their NBA game with her family. It's a Pacers vs. Kings game and it was a lot of fun!

Ben and Sydney both begin their senior year at Alice Lloyd College.

Ben and Sydney go out to eat with friends and then he proposes to her at a very special place.
