It&nbsp;all&nbsp;started&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;compliment&nbsp;on&nbsp;Bumble. Nick&nbsp;messaged&nbsp;Sydney&nbsp;asking&nbsp;if&nbsp;she’d&nbsp;ever&nbsp;done&nbsp;a&nbsp;Tough&nbsp;Mudder—an&nbsp;oddly&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;question,&nbsp;since&nbsp;she&nbsp;was&nbsp;just&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;away&nbsp;from&nbsp;doing&nbsp;her&nbsp;first&nbsp;one.&nbsp;The&nbsp;timing&nbsp;was&nbsp;spot&nbsp;on,&nbsp;and&nbsp;it&nbsp;caught&nbsp;her&nbsp;attention. Our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date?&nbsp;Culver’s,&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;scoop&nbsp;of&nbsp;frozen&nbsp;custard&nbsp;(courtesy&nbsp;of&nbsp;Sydney’s&nbsp;grandpa&nbsp;and&nbsp;his&nbsp;stash&nbsp;of&nbsp;coupons).&nbsp;From&nbsp;that&nbsp;very&nbsp;first&nbsp;meet-up,&nbsp;full&nbsp;of&nbsp;laughter,&nbsp;good&nbsp;conversation,&nbsp;and&nbsp;maybe&nbsp;a&nbsp;little&nbsp;nervous&nbsp;energy,&nbsp;we&nbsp;both&nbsp;knew&nbsp;something&nbsp;was&nbsp;different. From&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning,&nbsp;we&nbsp;connected&nbsp;over&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;of&nbsp;being&nbsp;active—especially&nbsp;soccer—and&nbsp;bonded&nbsp;over&nbsp;shared&nbsp;values,&nbsp;a&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;tooth,&nbsp;and&nbsp;even&nbsp;the&nbsp;video&nbsp;games&nbsp;we&nbsp;played.&nbsp;Over&nbsp;time,&nbsp;we&nbsp;built&nbsp;a&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;full&nbsp;of&nbsp;fun&nbsp;conversations,&nbsp;spontaneous&nbsp;adventures,&nbsp;and&nbsp;cozy&nbsp;nights&nbsp;in&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;shows&nbsp;(and&nbsp;each&nbsp;other). Whether&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;planning&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip,&nbsp;hosting&nbsp;game&nbsp;night,&nbsp;or&nbsp;just&nbsp;grocery&nbsp;shopping,&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;become&nbsp;each&nbsp;other’s&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;teammate,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;so&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;keep&nbsp;playing&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;team&nbsp;for&nbsp;life. We&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;this&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;of&nbsp;you.&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;for&nbsp;being&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;story.&nbsp;We’re&nbsp;so&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;this&nbsp;joyful&nbsp;day&nbsp;(and&nbsp;probably&nbsp;some&nbsp;frozen&nbsp;custard)&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;people&nbsp;we&nbsp;love&nbsp;most!

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn for the nights of October 24 and 25 at a special rate for our wedding guests. To book, please call the hotel directly and mention the Emmerich/Tarnow Wedding to receive the discounted rate. The room block is being held until September 19, so we recommend booking early to ensure availability. Thank you, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Comfort Inn & Suites

A complimentary shuttle will run between the Comfort Inn in Beaver Dam and our venue, Fat Apple Farm, on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:30 PM and return trips will depart the venue at 9:30 PM, 10:30 PM, and 11:45 PM.
