It all started on Bumble. Sydney had to start the conversation, but, truth be told, she was ready to delete the app and give up hope on finding her person. It didn’t even start with something clever - a simple “Hey! How are you?” is what set this couple into a life of love.

Supposed to come up to meet Sydney on a Sunday, Wade was impatient and ended up coming on a Saturday. Wade refused to settle for less than “that spark”, and it’s safe to say he felt it when he met Sydney.

The couple has been through highs and lows, but through it all, Sydney and Wade found comfort in each other.

On December 22, 2023, just a little over three months after they became a couple, Wade looked Sydney in the eyes and uttered the words, “I love you.” And on March 9, 2024, a day before Sydney’s birthday, Wade gave her a promise ring. On May 27, 2024, Wade proposed at home, after saying, “I can’t wait any longer.”

As Sydney would tell him, “It’s you and me, right?” And it will now forever be the two of them.
