Our Wedding

Our love story has been nothing short of incredible. You automatically win big points being able to say you are “high school sweethearts.” Jared and I have known each other since we were both in middle school. As we both navigated through high school, we knew of each other. Jared was a football player and I was a cheerleader. So cliché right?! Fast forward to my junior year and Jared’s senior year, we fell into the same friend group and spent a lot of time together. We considered each other “best friends.” Not having any idea what was to come. Mind you, anytime people made comments on us possibly dating my response was, “Ew! He’s like a brother to me. Never. Ever.” Once Jared graduated from high school, we went to the lake to celebrate. Jared might’ve had too much to drink and told all of our friend group (behind my back) that he was “in love with me.” Obviously, I was taken aback when I found out but I knew dating my best friend would’ve been the best thing I could’ve done. And I was right! From that point on we’ve been inseparable. 7 years down and now we both have the careers we love, a beautiful home together, and some pretty amazing pets. We have created many memories neither of us would trade for the world. We grew up together, changed together, struggled together, and now we will continue doing these things together for the rest of our lives! Our love story is my favorite one.
