Our first date! We went to the beach while he was home on leave. I ended up unintentionally meeting his whole family and all his friends that night because he was flying back to base the next day. (I snuck this picture so I could show my friends how cute he was).

Our first date went so well, he flew me out to California to hangout before he deployed. Just a few days after meeting! Crazy kids.

He was deployed oversees (hence the buzz cut), so there were a lot of FaceTime dates!

Marine Corps ball! This was one of many stops on our three week road trip from Michigan back to California. We also stopped in New Orleans to visit his family, Austin, TX to visit mine, and the Grand Canyon!

We got engaged in Carlsbad, CA! He set up a romantic dinner and sunset on the beach before he popped the question.

Living in the same state! Temporarily. While I was mobilized in San Diego, we were able to spend a lot of time together.

Rob got out of the military and moved back home to start school at the University of Michigan. We are living in Saline with our cat, Monty.
