Sydney and Charlie first met on the fourth floor of the Daniels Hall dorm at the University of Cincinnati during their freshman year of college. They met through mutual friends and started hanging out in the same friend group. A good friendship started first, and eventually they started going on dates. One of their first dates was to Charlie's fraternity formal in Chicago during the spring of 2017. That was all it took for them to figure out that they loved spending time together.

Sydney and Charlie dated all throughout college and attended countless UC sporting events together, many more fraternity/sorority formals and date parties, took a class together (beer class, of course), and even graduated together. Then they entered adult life together - Charlie at Eagle Realty and Sydney attending Physician Assistant school at Mount Saint Joseph University.

During this time, they continued doing one of their favorite hobbies together - traveling. In July of 2023 they took a trip to Paris, France. While they were along the bank of the River Seine, Charlie popped the question and Sydney said "Oui!"

They cannot wait to celebrate their love for one another with all their family and friends in June 2025!
