Your typical story of the popular guy and weird girl becoming the best of friends. Our lives never clicked together in the sense of dating, and neither of us told each other how we really felt. This picture was Sydney not wanting to give Carson a hug - she knew it was goodbye, she did not want to cry, but little did she know their story was not ending there.

Sydney was taking a family vacation to Florida, the day before she left, Carson asked her to be his girlfriend. She said no! The audacity... fast forward to a very long week later, watching the sunsets and sunrises of Florida she quickly realized the only person she could imagine watching these with was Carson. The next day when she got home and finally saw him - she told him "I'm ready" -Sydney "Ready for...?" -Carson "To be your girlfriend" -Sydney. It may have taken 5 hours into seeing him for her to get up the nerve to say it, but the rest is history!

Two days after we started dating. Our first picture as an official couple was at a New Years Eve party. Starting from this point until about May there are very few pictures together as we lived an hour and a half apart.

Our first home together! Carson spent months fixing it up. And we got to officially spend the first night just days before Christmas! It was the best way to celebrate our fast approaching one year anniversary and we no longer needed say goodbye at the end of the weekend!

WE'RE ENGAGED! @ Devil's Punchbowl in Menomonie, WI. Not only did Carson orchestrate the whole engagement - but we also had our family and friends waiting for us for an after party. How he managed to keep this a secret with so many people in the know will forever be a mystery!

ENGAGEMENT PICTURES!! It was an unusually hot day for the end of September, but it was absolutely perfect. Cannot wait to see how well she does with our big day!
