Things to Do

eats & drinks

Pryes Brewing

One of our favorite breweries! Also serves woodfire pizza & light eats.

Surly Brewing

Fulton Brewing

Home of the Lonely Blonde.

Freehouse

Parlour Burger Bar

Home of the famous Parlour Burger! Be warned, make a reservation in advance.

Red Cow

Red Rabbit

Any Daniel del Prado Restaurant

Rosalia, Colita, Martina, Cardamom, Porzana, SanJusan, Macanda, Josefina, Dexter's

Barcelona Wine Bar & Tapas

The Loon Cafe

Home of the Grape Ape shot!

BeBe Zito Ice Cream

Matt's Bar

Many spots claim to be home to the famous Juicy Lucy, but this is our favorite.

Backstory Coffee

Syd's favorite spot for coffee spot in Minneapolis!

Spyhouse Coffee

FRGMNT Coffee

Rise Bagels

For all my Chicagoans, this isn't your typical bagel or deli. Rise specializes in Canadian style bagels and artisan flavors/sandwiches. A fun breakfast stop in North Loop!

Public Domain/Neon Tiger

A more unique find for drinks and snacks! Public Domain is a cocktail bar where your server asks you a variety of questions and makes a drink for you based on your answers. If there's a wait, there's a fun 'upscale dive-bar' in the back with delicious eats and basic drinks.

Cuzzy's

Small but lively North Loop dive bar, there are dollar bills all over the walls!

Marty's Deli

Our favorite breakfast sandwich in the cities, be warned there's a line normally around 10am!

1029 Bar

Our preferred Northeast dive bar, you might catch us with ranch waters & mcgoldens singing karaoke!

activities & attractions

Target Field/Minnesota Twins

The Twins are home and play the Arizona Diamondbacks Sept. 12-14! If you can catch a game, Syd's favorite hot dog is the MSP Kosher Stand, and Will's signature $5 beers are at the Family Value stand.

Please be aware these games will cause North Loop to be a bit busier than usual (but tons of fun)! Cowboy Jacks rooftop, GRAZE & the Loon Cafe are the places to be before & after the game.

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

Home of the Spoon & Cherry! Inside the museum is one of Syd's favorite brunch spots, Cardamom.

Mill City Farmer's Market

Every Saturday morning! A great spot to grab breakfast and see the Mill City district. Plus, there's a great walking path along the river & access to Stonearch Bridge.

The Guthrie Theater

Stop here to see 'The Yellow Room' and great views over the Mississippi! You don't need to have show tickets to go up. Right next to the farmers market too!

Stonearch Bridge & St. Anthony Main

Syd's favorite skyline view when facing the city. St. Anthony Main is right by where our wedding will be held. It's a beautiful cobblestone road with lots of stops for drinks & eats - plus beautiful skyline views!

North Loop Minneapolis

The warehouse district of Minneapolis & a hub for trendy bars and restaurants! You can't go wrong with any restaurant or bar you pick here - some of the options listed above are in this area.

Minnehaha Falls

Mall of America

Northeast Minneapolis

If you're looking for a dive bar, this is your side of town! Has a funky, historic vibe with lots of fun character. Don't forget to get some pull tabs!
