Sydney and Andrew happened to meet playing club volleyball while they were in high school. Their love of volleyball brought them together, and soon after they learned that they had even more in common.

After a wonderful summer, Sydney and Andrew decided to start dating... 5 days before Sydney is set to leave for her freshman year at the University at Buffalo.

Andrew decides to commit to the University at Buffalo as well. From there, the two grew as a team and were able to experience college together.

Graduation!!

After graduation, both Sydney and Andrew continued to achieve Master's degrees, at Stony Brook University and University at Buffalo, respectively. They got through school, starting their careers, and moving out on their own by each other's side. Then, on October 10th, 2020, Andrew gave Sydney the surprise of her life when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was absolutely perfect!
