Adam was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sydney was born and raised in Louisville, KY. Adam and Sydney 's paths crossed their sophomore year at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. They met through a mutual friend, Nate, who is one of Adam's best men. Adam and Sydney instantly became the best of friends. They spent countless hours laughing, telling stories, doing homework together, and getting to know each other. When Adam finally mustered up the courage to ask to be more than friends, he was met with a strong... maybe!

Sydney finally came around and they began dating in December of 2018. They have always loved exploring new coffee shops, hiking, watching sports, and making memories together.

Adam loves how compassionate Sydney is and how she always strives to make the people around her feel seen and loved, and Sydney loves how humble, gentle, and servant-hearted Adam is. Most importantly, they both love each other's heart for Jesus and desire to reflect God's love to those around them.

After about four years of dating (plus a year long break thrown in there), on October 27th 2023, Adam proposed to Sydney at Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana, and... SHE SAID YES!

Adam works as a youth minister in Rising Sun, IN, and Sydney is finishing up her doctorate degree in occupational therapy in Louisville, KY. They are so thankful that God has led them to this point in their relationship, and they can't wait to build a life together starting November 1st!
