Brody and I are your modern day romance in the sense that we met through an online dating site! In June of 2020 we had our first date at Cherry Berry where we enjoyed good fro-yo and great conversation with one another. It went so well we continued to spend time together while taking in the beautiful sights of Falls Park. It was not long after our first date that we decided to make things official! For the rest of that year, we spent most of our free time together enjoying small adventures from completing corn mazes to spending our first Christmas together.


To say 2021 flew by is an understatement. It was a year of growth as we not only moved in together and navigated the fun waters of how we wanted to decorate our place and who was the better cook (Brody still wins this title for now!), but we also added our favorite fur ball to our family. Sully was the perfect addition to our little family of 3 now! Everyday since, Sully has made us laugh at his silly shenanigans, his constant toe licks, his very vocal opinions on when he would like treats and car rides, and has truly made our lives better.


2022 was truly was the year for our dreams to start coming true. We embarked on an adventure to Glacier National Park in June to spend a week with family enjoying the magnificent beauty of the nature around us. The first day we enjoyed a walk on The Trail of the Cedars and then enjoyed some time to ourselves taking in the beauty of Lake McDonald. As we were leaving the park, we decided to check out a view point of the mountains. In true Syd fashion, I started a conversation with a couple from Idaho, completely oblivious as to what was about to come. When Brody was finally able to pull me away from my conversation, my sister offered to take some photos of Brody and I with the mountains in the background. Brody provided some fun poses for us including sad faces, him falling into the lake, and the last one of the “pro-pose”. The rest is history!
