Our Story
The Start
We met at a coffee house outside of Cleveland for brunch. Both were nervous but the brunch continued into seeing a movie. Sydney was unsure Jon liked her because he wasn't picking up her hints to hold her hand during the movie. He gave her a quick kiss before leaving after the movie (so quick Sydney still didn't know if Jon liked her!).
BUT he texted her before she even got home with plans for a second date ... the next day!
We were inseparable from then on and have only been apart for a few days at a time. Best friends love to be together <3
Our Life in Cleveland
We love our life in Cleveland! We have had numerous dates around the city - including the one that lead to our proposal. East or West side, we travel around and find the best places to eat and most fun activities to do. We also love supporting the Browns, Guardians, Monsters and Cavilers. (Cleveland doesn't have their own NHL team so we are still partial to the Chicago Blackhawks!)
In June 2023 we left our Gordon Square apartment and bought our first house. We managed to stay in the Cleveland proper neighborhood of Kamm’s Corner! We love our West side neighborhood and all it has to offer.
While have traveled to each coast and a few places in between, Cleveland is our home and we are so happy to celebrate our wedding in the city we love.
