Sydney and David's relationship began the way most do these days: in their freshman year physics lab. Maybe it was the romantic atmosphere associated with the pursuit of knowledge, or because Sydney gave him free coffee beans; needless to say a love blossomed between the two of them. In college, they spent many hours studying together in coffee shops, trying new restaurants, and cooking elaborate meals. During their summers off, they would take road trips to new destinations, their favorites being the national parks. David has even convinced Sydney to take up one of his favorite pastimes: camping.
Post graduation, Sydney and David have continued these traditions, though now unburdened by crippling amounts of homework and with a bit more financial freedom, allowing them to explore more new and exciting locations and eat more delicious foods. It was on one of their trips to a long time Wurst family favorite locale, Grand Marais, that David popped the question at sunset on the shores of Lake Superior. Whether it be going on far off adventures, or sitting on the couch with a TV show and a bowl of popcorn, Sydney and David are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together. They would be honored if you, as a member of their closest friends and family, could join them for a celebration of their love on October 4th, 2024.
