While our story is not the most traditional, it is special to us. Colby and I grew up together since I was in 5th grade and he was in 4th grade. We went to church together, but were never anything more than friends. When it was time for Colby to go to prom his junior year of high school, he was looking for a date. A friend of his said that I would be a great date for him, since Colby and I were great friends and around the same age. I found out that Colby was thinking about taking me to prom so I approached him at church one Sunday and said "I would love to go to prom with you, but I want to get to know you better first". So Colby did as I said, and took me on a date. Colby and I enjoyed Wings to Go (if you know you know!) and adventuring around the good ole' town of Burlington. We had such an amazing time that one date turned into two and two dates turned into three. Before we knew it, we had completely fell in love with each other. On June 12th, 2019, Colby pulled me to the side at church and asked if I would officially be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes! Ever since this day, we have been inseparable! While it has not always been rainbows and sunshines, we have continued to turn our amazing friendship into an even better relationship. After dating for 5.5 years, Colby finally put a ring on it! We can't wait to officially start our forever alongside each of you!
