The two of us met in 2015. I was bartending, and he was just out for a night of fun. Little did he know he was about to meet the woman he’d end up spending the rest of his life with. I on the other hand knew the moment I saw him that I was going to love him.

Every weekend, Sergio made it a point to visit me at the bar. Each time my heart would skip a beat, loving every moment we got to spend together. After several weekends of playful flirting, I finally gave him my number. However, Sergio, trying to be slick, called me at 4 a.m. I quickly reminded him, “I’m not the girl you call at 4 a.m. I’m the girl you call during the day and take on a date.” He was definitely a little embarrassed but determined, he apologized the next day and asked me out properly.

Our first date was definitely unforgettable, unforgettable in the sense that he ended up giving me the stomach flu. Thankfully, I didn’t hold it against him and agreed to a second date.

We hit it off, our chemistry undeniable. However, we soon realized that we both had a lot of growing up to do. Ultimately, we decided it was best to go our separate ways. Despite this, we would still run into each other from time to time, always agreeing that the timing wasn’t right. No matter how much we tried to fight it.

Fast forward to 2018. I had just returned from filming a project and was ready for whatever life had in store. As fate would have it, I ran into Sergio again. This time, something felt different. We had both grown and matured, and the timing was finally right. From that moment on, we were inseparable, cherishing whatever it was that brought us back together.

Now, here we are with our two beautiful sons, celebrating our union with our closest family and friends. Our love story is a testament to the idea that true love always finds its way, even if the path is winding and full of unexpected turns. Our journey shows that sometimes, the right person comes into your life at the right time, and when they do, everything just falls into place.
