Our Wedding

Sylvia and Taran met in January of 2017. The two grew very close and began dating after two months. It was very surprising to find out they lived right down the street from each other. They have many connections to each other and it’s surprising the two didn’t meet sooner. Their brothers went to high school together, Sylvia knew Taran’s nephew when he was just a baby, and one of Taran’s co workers is related to her father. It really is fate. Taran proposed on Cypress mountain look out after 3 years. They will be together for over 5 in a half years when they get married. And recently they found out they are expecting their first child in January 2023. The two can’t wait to start married life and parenthood together. They truly are each other’s soulmate.

Sylvia and Jessica have known each other since they were born. Jessica being Sylvia’s cousin looks to her as another sister. The two are very close and she wouldn’t want anyone else standing beside her on her special day. 

Jessica 

Anna is Sylvia’s younger sister. Growing up the two were very close. Sylvia is very lucky to have an amazing sister who she can count on and is so happy to share her special day with her.

Kelsey and Sylvia met through their work and quickly became best friends. Kelsey has been a great friend to Sylvia and she couldn’t picture her big day without her.

Ashley and Sylvia have known each other for a little  over a year. Meeting Ashley through Stone they have grown a good friendship. Sylvia is so excited to have Ashley be with her on her special day.

Jake and Taran have known each other since they were kids. They have a special bond and Taran is so excited to have Jake by his side.

Kody is Taran’s older brother. Growing up Taran always looked up to Kody and is lucky to have him as a brother.

Stone is Taran’s youngest brother. He couldn’t imagine his wedding without his outgoing little bro. It wouldn’t be the same without him.

Shane is one of Taran and Sylvia’s closest friends. They all become friends even before they even started dating.  Taran is so happy to have Shane to celebrate the big day with.

Wedding Party

The wedding day 

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Chilliwack Golf club. Ceremony will start at 4pm and reception will follow. There will be a buffet dinner and toonie bar. The wedding will end at 12am. 

The big day 

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, so we ask our guests to arrive at 3:30pm. It will be located outside at the Chilliwack Golf club with stunning views of Mount Chem and the surrounding Cascade mountain range.

The reception 

The reception will shortly follow after the ceremony at the outdoor Pavilion. Dinner will be served buffet style and there will also be a toonie bar. There will be a DJ and dance floor. The reception will end at 12am.

Registry gift 

Food 

Dinner is a buffet with a roasted baron of beef, entrees, sides, salads, platters, and wedding cake for dessert. There will also be a late night snack bar of tacos.

We are so happy you are able to share this special day with us, and we thank you so much for celebrating with us. With our expanding family we would like to upgrade to a bigger house so any cash contributions would be much appreciated in helping us reach our goal.
