Est. 2020 Our love story didn’t begin in a coffee shop, on an app, or at a friend’s party. It began in the most unexpected of places: a correctional facility in Washington State. Yes... You read that right! In 2018, Synae bold, hilarious, and full of life (and opinions), had a number. Araka calm, quiet, and mysterious, like the human version of a do not disturb sign had the badge. From the start, we couldn’t have been more different. One of us was the loudest voice in the room. The other? Probably hoping the room would quiet down. But somehow, something clicked. Even when we weren’t allowed to say much, so much was said in glances, energy, and unspoken understanding. They lived in two completely different worlds, yet something deeper stirred between them; a mutual respect, an unspoken connection. Though it began subtle it was REAL. In 2020, when Synae was free, the rules no longer applied. What had started as a spark quietly carried into the outside world, where we were free to explore what had always been there. And explore, we did. Together, we’ve become adventurers — not just in love, but in life. We’ve parasailed over sparkling waters, held on for dear life during a banana boat rides, zipped through Vegas lights, driven ATVs like we were auditioning for an action movie, and even walked along the ocean floor (yes, like actually on the sea floor). Everywhere we go, we carry laughter and balance. Araka is the calm to Synae’s fire, and Synae is the light that pulled Araka from her shadows. We challenge each other, inspire each other, and bring out the best in each other. From a place where connection seemed impossible, to a life filled with freedom, adventure, and deep love. Our story is proof that love doesn’t care about where it starts... only where it’s meant to go. And now? It’s brought us here. To this moment. To this celebration. To this “I do.” We can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.

Hey y’all! It’s the maid of honor Jaz aka Doublemint twin! Araya (or so y’all know her as Nae) and I have been inseparable for as long as I can remember! Two peas in a pod, both known to be the LIFE OF THE PARTY! I’m just a tad more EXTRA where she’s a tad more CRAZY! (IYKYK) We met in kindergarten (Ms. Hill’s class to be exact) & we have been rocking ever since! Blood literally couldn’t make us any closer.. We’ve shared it all from laughter in times like her krumping up until she found out she was SEVERAL MONTHS pregnant with her son Tre (find her on YouTube) lol, to tears when we both lost our younger brothers. I couldn’t be more proud of the woman she is and is still becoming! I’m so looking forward to being a part of her & Araka’s 1st day of FOREVER, when they say, “I DO”.

Hello I’m Tarlanda aka T! I met Synae in 2022 at a psychotic attempt of a birthday celebration and let’s just say it was a crazy night. From spontaneous hangouts, celebrating birthdays, and screaming our favorite songs at concerts, we’ve packed a lot of memories (and a lot of laughs) into a few years.

When she asked me to be a part of her special day I was honored. I’m so excited to stand by her side as she marries Araka, who totally gets her, compliments her crazy, and makes her so happy. Can’t wait to celebrate these two!

You know how some people walk into your life at the most unexpected time, like a plot twist in a movie you didn’t even know you were starring in? That’s how I met Synae.

We crossed paths during a time in my life when I wasn’t exactly looking for new friends, I was just trying to keep my sanity intact and maybe find a good meal or two. But then came this little burst of energy: Synae. Somehow, through life’s chaos (and probably a few mutual eye rolls and inside jokes), we just clicked. It was one of those instant connections where you think, “Yep, this one’s going to be trouble… in the best way.”

Now, let me tell you about this little firecracker, or should I say a whole firework show, standing at a strong 5’0”… and honestly, that might be generous (don’t come for me, twin). What she lacks in height, she more than makes up for with her personality, attitude, and fashion.

She’s got a smile that could light up a blackout and comebacks so sharp they could slice through your ego faster than your mama’s Sunday dinner knife. And trust me, we both love to eat, so that’s saying something. Somehow, she’s been both my motivation coach and my favorite roast master, equal parts hype woman and humble pie distributor.

We call each other twins, not because we look alike (trust me, no one’s confusing us for sisters), but because our hearts are mirror images: oversized, dramatic, and full of love. If you see one of us laughing, crying, or snacking, the other isn’t far behind.

When I look at Synae, I see a reflection of my best self: confident, grounded, and just the right amount of chaotic. I honestly can’t imagine who I’d be without her friendship. She’s the reminder that sometimes, the people who show up when you least expect it end up being the ones who hold your world together with hope, laughter, and light.

So here’s to my forever twin, it has been a true honor and privilege to call you that. Thank you for being the tiny but mighty force that keeps me laughing, learning, and living out loud.

Official duties: keep Synae calm, keep the snacks stocked, and make sure no one trips down the aisle 🫣… I’ll stick to my strengths and let the other fabulous bridesmaids handle the rest. I’m usually the serious one, but Synae (and everyone around her) has this magical way of pulling me out of my shell and showing me how to have a little more fun. I met Synae in one of the most unexpected places, the pokey (iykyk 😆)! There were so many unforgettable moments along the way (like coming home to find she’d been “returned to sender” 😅). I was also there when she and Araka first started those late-night FaceTimes that were forbidden—I’d go to sleep with them on the phone and wake up with them still on the phone lol! We’ve watched each other grow, fall in (and out of) love, and navigate loss, joy, and all the things life throws your way. Synae is fun, no-nonsense, and always about that life. She pushes me out of my box, shows me a great time, levels up my fashion game, she even gave me my first strip club experience (ATL 🤫😉). I’m so lucky to have shared so many firsts with her, and I can’t wait to celebrate this next big adventure by her side. I’m so happy for you and Araka and if you plan on making me do a dance make sure that you tell me well ahead of time so that I can get it together, you know I struggle with my rhythm lol!

Hey y’all! Alyssa here - old white last of the crew😆 I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Synae since she was “young” Lil’ Baby on lockdown. Fighting with no fear and yelling at the cops to set them straight. Yet, rather than being the older sister watching her mature, she has always been the one in the know who teaches me about the world. Nae brings fun and adventure into my life, reminding me to be courageous, try new things, and never forget who the hell I am or what I’ve overcome. She makes sure there is space for a square bear like me, and for that I am forever grateful. And because I had the privilege of being present when Araka proposed, I feel especially qualified to bless this union and to celebrate how these two beautiful people make each other better everyday day.

Oh fatha, well let me start by saying congrats to the lovely couple…. Now Nae came into my life not sure how long ago cause she just showed up at my door step one day. I thought the stork went to the wrong house. Now at this time it’s Leo season so I welcomed her in with open arms so she could experience the life in Leo season. Unfortunately I’ve been stuck with her ever since, I didn’t even know the girl real name for a long time. But I can admit that she has been a blessing in my life for sure. Nae is one of the  partners in crime, travel buddy, dance floor hype woman (cause she be hyping me for sure), and professional bad-influence including Araka but we not going to speak on that, she know what she be doing. Through every crazy adventure we have had I can say I wouldn’t trade any of it. From I got you friend we gonna make it home, to FaceTimes after being passed out for days, to inspector gadget, to cleaning my wombs and patching me up, to random calls for brunch time to late night concerts and night life, to friend why you there cause I see your location. I could go on and on. If she rocking know I’m rolling. I am so very proud of you and I wish you and Araka the very best. Lordt Araka you got your hands full, I’m just glad it’s you. I love you guys, congrats. Now let’s turn up!!!

My mom & Synae’s father has been close friends well before we even knew each one of us even existed but thanks to my best friend Jazzy & Stadium High School’s Dance Team “Mysterious Kutz” I was able to actually meet the legend herself & a legend is just what she is. From the Club Friday sweaty walls Chris Brown - Take You Down club nights to jumping over 2 tables in Mrs. Bright’s 4th Period Human Development class to get her lick back on a opp!
