The closest airport to the Outer Banks is Norfolk International Airport (approximately 82 miles north). We would recommend flying into Norfolk and renting a car to drive down to the OBX.

There are several options! There are hotels, Airbnbs, and a lot of vacation rentals around the area. Vacation rental homes typically have several rooms if you are wanting to stay with family or friends. Beach Realty NC, Sun Realty, and Southern Shores Realty are commonly used vacation rental companies.

Please wear what would make you comfortable. The average temperatures for the OBX in October is between 60-75 degrees Fahrenheit. There will be a short walk from the house down to the beach where the ceremony will take place.
