We met in December of 2020 - our first date was actually driving around looking at Christmas lights. We never even officially started "dating," we just never left each other alone after that. We weren't even 'Facebook official' until after we bought our first house in Pine Hill together! I think that's the best part of our relationship - we don't have to think about it, we just keep loving each other; everything else is secondary.

Mike proposed last year, the day we closed on our second home in Tabernacle. It was a rare day, when we were alone without the kids, taking in the fact that we just bought our forever home. I was distracted looking through the house, came back up the stairs, and he was on one knee. It was perfect. No embarrassing song and dance, no pomp and circumstance, just a proposition to love each other forever.
