WHAT EVENTS SHOULD BE ATTENDING?
We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday at 5 PM for a Welcome Dinner at 1 Hotel! 🌴✨ We’ll be gathering at a beachside cabana with fire pits and plenty of pizza.
When you arrive, just let the guard gate or valet know you’re headed to grab a drink at the terrace 😉. From there, make your way down to the lower pool area and walk over to the beach—you’ll find us at the cabana.
(Consider this a little “practice run” for navigating the hotel—it’s a bit of a maze with multiple elevators—before the big day!)
We’ll be waiting for you at the cabana right at 5 PM. Can’t wait to kick off the celebrations together!
What is the Dresscode?
Think light, airy, and comfortable—Kauai is warm, and we want everyone to feel their best while celebrating with us! 🌺 Most guests will likely be in beach formal attire. Our wedding colors are Rose Gold and Sage Green—no need to match, but we thought we’d share in case you’d like to coordinate. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing too much white so the bride can shine (as she should!). ✨
When and Where is the wedding?
Our wedding will be on 9/16 at One Hotel in Princeville, Kauai. The ceremony starts at 5pm sharp, with a reception to follow. Please arrive 30-45 minutes early to take in all the amazing views and allow yourself enough time to find your seat.
Do we need a car rental?
Princeville is located on Kauai’s North Shore, about 29 miles from Lihue Airport (LIH), which is the main airport on the island.
Drive Time: Approximately 45–50 minutes by car, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
Transportation Options: Rental cars are the most convenient option, but shuttles, taxis, and rideshares (like Uber/Lyft) are available, though less frequent than on the mainland. We highly recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay.
Pro tip: Spring for a convertible...you won't regret it!
What will the weather be like?
Kauai’s weather is warm and tropical year-round, with occasional showers (especially on the North Shore). We recommend light, breathable clothing and bringing a light jacket just in case.
