Justin had just moved to milton and got a letter in the mail inviting him to a church on Sunday. He puts the address in his GPS (not knowing he put the wrong numbers in) and drives to the church. Turns out, when he gets to his destination, he’s in the First Baptist Church of Milton parking lot, and not in the parking lot of the church on the letter. FBC Milton happens to be my (Tabitha) church home. I play in the orchestra there and I remember seeing a very tall man walk in and sit down by himself. And then the next several Sundays I see the same man walk in by himself and sit down in the same spot each time. This is during 2020 so it’s tough talk to people and I wasn’t attending Sunday School so it was challenging to find time to meet him. However I worked up the nerve one day to talk to him and I told him that “I like your boots” cause he always wore them to church. Over time, through small conversations, and the interactions of the church fall festival, he worked up enough courage to ask me out on November 2nd, 2021. I’ll never forget that day cause I’d had my eye on him since the first day I saw him! Our first date was coffee at Coffee Break in Pace and then that lead to pizza at Mellow Mushroom for dinner the same night! We’ve had so much fun through the time we’ve known each other and have definitely grown with each other and Christ in the not so fun times too. We are so excited to get married and start our forever together!
