Ray has been very attentive and helpful with me especially around bedtime since mom lets me sucker her into staying up. He even build my playground in the backyard so I can play and swing on sunny days. I’m thankful for them both and I look forward to many more memories with the both of them.

We have been there for the most important moments in each other lives like having children etc . Tai met me when I was still in my mothers stomach. She was born in January and I didn’t come out until July. I guess that makes her older than me 🤷🏾♀️we were born into. Fast forward to our 20s we began hanging out and our favorite spot was Henrietta Hudson in the village. During one of the most difficult times in my life she embraced me without judgement and our friendship bloomed. She’s the hot head and I’m the calm to the storm always trying to find a reasonable solution that won’t get someone killed. I can’t tell you when we met but our bond is real and what’s understood don’t need to be explained.

From that day forward, we were work besties turned into true friends; our coworkers didnt see one without the other. Tai is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. This is a new thing for me. That being, giving a toast at a wedding more specifically at a family members union. Today is the second time I can honestly say that i am extremely proud and happy for my uncle (Brother). The first was when he told me that he got his house. He has experienced alot of adversity throughout his life and Im happy that he has found happiness in this the other chapter in his life. I met Raymond about eight years ago at 325 Kent Avenue. It was my first day of work with PGNY. An I can tell you man; the first few hours of that day wasn’t Love at first sight at all for the two of us.
But by the end of the day, you would swear this man and myself were joined at the hip.
Raymond has a lot of good qualities about him, what I admired most about this guy, is the way he Loved and cared for his mother, AKA (MAMA) Short man is a good guy you just have to get to know him.

For me I appreciate you for never pushing me toward a path you wanted. Instead, you guided me toward the one you believed was the best for me. I was suppose to be a marine & I remembered you taking almost a month to sign the paperwork because you didn’t want me enlisting. When that fell through, you put me under your wing to teach me carpentry. Now because of you I fell in love with carpentry & I’ve been working with you now for 11years. Listen over the years you’ve been teaching me tough love, awareness, principles, discipline & different forms of respect. You definitely made me into the man you see today.
