In January of 2015, our story begins...

David was out celebrating his birthday with friends and Talia was dragged out by her friend Eric for a night out.

Through a series of hilarious events, David and Talia would be introduced...at of all places GLOW (if you know...you know)...by their mutual friend John. Coincidentally, several of the people in attendance that night are both in and will be attending the wedding.

Six months into the relationship, Talia had a career opportunity in Seattle and moved out of Bellingham. David was still attending Western Washington University (where he would later obtain his engineering degree) but both knew the relationship was special and made long distance work.

Once David graduated from school, he moved down to Seattle to be with Talia and they worked together to build an amazing life together. In a full circle moment, they both moved back up to Bellingham the summer of 2023.

Throughout the years, they had many adventures all over the world! From adopting their beloved baby (doggo) Missy Elliott, to traveling all over the US and Mexico. From beaches to music festivals and everything in-between.

David's easy going energy and kindness is a perfect compliment to Talia's tenacity and fiercely loving nature. They lift each other up, encourage each other and push each other to be the best version of themselves.

They give each other the bandwidth to grow individually into the person they want and hope to be, while still growing together. They understand that the intertwining of their lives is a choice and they choose each other every day. That is a gift they do not take for granted.

Like all relationships, there have been challenges and losses but through every event, the unconditional love between them grew. The love that they share together has kept them on a path of lifelong partnership and most importantly - friendship.

On December 23rd of 2022 in front of the Christmas tree with Missy Elliott sitting in-between being the perfect wing-doggo, David proposed and Talia accepted. They were able to tell both of their immediate families in person over the Christmas Holiday and ring in the new year celebrating!

On 10/13/24 - David and Talia tied the knot with a small ceremony (but also live-streamed) in Las Vegas! Now time to celebrate with family!
