Talia and Dustyn began dating in high school despite Dino's best efforts.

Dustyn went on to study at the University of Guelph for Turf Grass Management as well as Algonquin College where he studied Urban Forestry. This led to his present career as a utility arborist for Hydro One.

Talia graduated from McMaster University and went on to become a Registered Nurse, working in the stroke unit at Guelph General Hospital.

Dustyn and Talia met in highschool and started talking through mutual friends. Dustyn found out that Tal shared his love for football and although they didn't know each other well, in 2013, Dustyn had an extra ticket to a Buffalo Bills game and invited Tal to join him as his friend had canceled last minute. They spoke for a few weeks but their lives eventually took them in different directions and they lost touch.

A few years later, in 2015, Talia showed up late to her friend's party and when she got there, everyone was asleep. Just down the 100 steps, Dustyn was in a similar situation with his friends, and decided to shoot his shot with Talia who happened to be a 3 minute walk away from him.

From that day on, Talia and Dustyn were inseparable.

Nov 17, 2013: Dustyn took Tal out to a Buffalo Bills Game.

Oct 17, 2015: Dustyn and Tal started hanging out.

Feb 10, 2016: Dustyn asked Tal to be his girlfriend.

Feb 11, 2016: Tal said yes.

Aug 10, 2019: Dustyn moved in with Tal (& her family).

Apr 26, 2023: Dustyn proposed on their trip to Bali.

May 12, 2023: They bought their first home together.

After dating for a few years, Dustyn and Tal found an old soccer photo dating back to 2002 where they were coached by Talia's dad Dino.

Dustyn was skillful at a young age and can be seen, via home video, showing Dino how to play.
