Our Wedding

<p>Hoai and Tam met on their way to a church conference in Denver, Colorado in July 2010. Tam had come with her church and family from Houston, TX and Hoai had come with his church from Fort Smith, AR. The two churches met in Wichita, KS to go together. While the two locked eyes a couple times during the gas station break, they did not talk until during an ice breaker game at the conference when Tam had worked up the courage to come talk to Hoai. The two continue to talk and got to know each other. In April 2011, Hoai drove from Arkansas to Houston to visit Tam on her birthday. On April 18, 2011, Hoai asked Tam to be his girlfriend. The rest is history.&nbsp;</p>

How We Met 

The couple and their closest friends and family traveled to Houston from Arkansas and Nebraska to go on a summer vacation in South Padre Island. On August 14, 2017 during sunset, as Tam was taking pictures on the beach, Hoai wrote "Will you marry me?" on the sand behind her. As Tam turned around after taking pictures, Hoai was on his knees. In tears, Tam said, "yes." The rest is history.
