Tamia and Nathan were both born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They met at the ages of 23 and 26. By fate, they kickstarted their relationship from a competitive game of spades at Nathan's hosted game nights. From that night history was made! After being friends for 6 months, Nathan asked Tamia to a picnic date at Lakeside Park where he officially asked her to be his girlfriend on 06/18/2023.

After dating for almost 2 years, Nathan planned a surprise proposal. It was disguised as a friends photoshoot with all of Tamia's close friends. With the song 'POV' by Ariana Grande playing in the background, Tamia walked in to Nathan on one knee asking spend the rest of his life with her. With that, she said YES!
