We met at the Kaiser Permanente hospital while in the waiting room area. My cousin and I had driven his sister to the hospital for a planned visit. We were in the waiting room area laughing and joking around early in the morning. My cousin and Carl had the funniest bantering that I was in tears laughing. In the days to come, we had started working out together and he taught me some military physical training. We became the best of friends. Along the way, we fell in love and found a soulmate in each other!
