Let's take you to the start of our fairy tale!

"And they lived happily ever after."

Our story doesn’t go wayyyyy back, but it was definitely written in the stars. While Tania was in search of her Italian Prince Charming, they were unknowingly following each other on Instagram. Yes, we never imagined we’d be one of those couples who would tell their children one day that they met on social media, but here we are. It was 2022, the year of Tania’s thirtieth birthday. She was a single gal, hoping to find “the one” that year. Then came June 15th, and Leonardo decided to take a chance. Yes, you guessed it—he slid into Tania’s DMs. He wished her a happy birthday, and to his disappointment, Tania left him on read for five days. Leonardo thought she had ghosted him...It was June 19th when Tania finally thanked Leonardo for his birthday message. Tania is the type to thank everyone personally, so thank goodness she did. They began exchanging messages daily, and although Tania had just about given up on finding love, Leonardo piqued her interest. She was (and still is) quite the busy bee, so it took some time before they found a mutual day for their first date. On June 29th, Tania and Leonardo made spontaneous plans to grab coffee at Toi, Moi &amp; Cafe. They talked about life, their interests, love, and family until the waitress had to remind them it was closing time. After that night, their adventure truly began. What started with talking led to more dates, and those dates blossomed into a beautiful relationship. We’ll keep it short and get to the good stuff. Leonardo and Tania took their first trip together to New York City during Christmas time, which solidified their relationship. They also traveled to Punta Cana and Walt Disney World, with plenty of fun adventures in between. Tania was almost certain he was going to propose at Magic Kingdom—she was so convinced at one point—but just six months later, in beautiful Italia, her dream became a reality. Tania had always told Leonardo that it was her dream to get engaged in the place that meant the most to her. While traveling to Italy, Leonardo and Tania spent six days in the Bay of Naples and the Amalfi Coast toward the end of their trip. They stayed in Sorrento—a town Tania fell in love with back in 2016—and Leonardo had made reservations at Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria just in time for golden hour.Although Tania had a strong feeling that Leonardo was going to propose that day (he still won’t admit it, hehe), it was the most beautiful day of her life. Leonardo told Tania they had no choice but to stay in Sorrento that day—because she loves exploring—so they took it easy and strolled under the Sorrento sun. When it was time to get ready to head to the terrace, of course, things weren’t going smoothly, and they took longer than usual. Tania started wondering if her suspicions were true, but Leonardo remained calm. They walked to the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, and by this point, Leonardo was clearly rushing to get there. When they arrived, Tania instantly felt butterflies. The view from the terrace was breathtaking—unlike anything she had ever seen. She also noticed a photographer but didn’t think too much of it at first. They were escorted to their table by the railing, and from then on, everything became a blur. Leonardo got down on one knee as the sun was setting over the coast and asked Tania to be his wife. Though she cried for what seemed like forever, her answer was, of course, “SI!” And here we are today, preparing for the most beautiful day of our lives—the day we say “yes” to starting a life together as husband and wife.
