Our vow renewal ceremony will be held on Pompano Beach North of the Pier. There will be paid street parking and a parking garage located 2 blocks away from where the ceremony will be. Please plan according to park in a timely manner as the ceremony will start promptly at 4 PM.

We recommend staying in Ft. Lauderdale and driving up to North Pompano Beach for the ceremony and reception. There is much more to do in Ft. Lauderdale and it is closer to Miami if you want to enjoy your time in South Florida before and after the ceremony. We will be staying in the Ft. Lauderdale area and that is where brunch will be held on Sunday morning. Only the ceremony will be on Pompano Beach.

Pelican Grand Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina, and Courtyard Marriott Ft. Lauderdale. There are also many air bnbs available in the area at airbnb.com.

There is only seating for 30 people at the ceremony. We have only invited our very closest friends and family. If you cannot attend please let us know so that someone else can attend in your absence. Small children are not allowed at the ceremony. Please get approval from us before bringing children or additional guests.

We are asking that all guests where "beach cocktail" attire. This would be semi-dressy attire that is also comfortable for the beach. Please wear colors in the "melanin" family - browns, creams, golds, tan, cinnamon, etc. Please see the photo below for examples of this color scheme. All guests (male and female) are asked to please wear a color in this family! We appreciate your cooperation in making our wedding vision a reality. ;-)

Yes there will be a brief beach reception after the ceremony. There will be hor d'oeuvres, refreshments and a champagne toast. After the reception you are free to explore South Florida on your own - as #DemWilsons will be on their 2nd honeymoon! lol

Brunch will be at our Air B-n-B in Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday, December 5th at 10 AM. Please schedule your flight back home after 12 NOON on that day so that you can come by the house for brunch and receive a special token of our appreciation for joining us on this special weekend!
