Our Wedding

Tanner and Alyssa met through mutual friends as seniors in high school. They started their love story enjoying some school dances, most notably senior prom, attending each other’s sports games and graduating just a day apart from rival high schools.

How They Met

Over the next 6 years of their love story the two have shared many memories. They attended Western Michigan University together where they have since both graduated as a Nurse and Aerospace Engineer.

The Last 6 Years

They have been privileged enough to shared several vacations together with many including each others friends and families. Disney, cruising and camping are easily some of their favorite memories.

They have also grown their little family with a puppy Nalla who keeps them very entertained. She has very quickly taken over both of their hearts and camera rolls.

And the story continues as Tanner proposed at Fredrick Meijer Gardens on Valentine’s Day 2025. Since then they have enjoyed the Wedding planning process and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on August 1st, 2026.

For those traveling in to celebrate with us we can’t wait to see you and we are so grateful to have you present. Hotel options in/around Cassopolis can be hard to find. We recommend traveling to nearby cities such as Elkhart IN, Niles MI, Paw Paw MI or even towards the Kalamazoo MI area. However, if you are comfortable using Vrbo or Airbnb there are many option close to the venue for small or large groups. Below are some options hopefully you can find helpful. Also, if we set up room blocks more information can be found here and will be attached to your invitations!
