Closest Airport - BOM (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport)

There are daily direct flights to Mumbai from New York, San Francisco and Chicago, and other connecting flights from Seattle, Boston and major cities of US. There are multiple daily flights to Mumbai from Kolkata, Delhi and Bangalore as well.

Accommodation -

24th December, guests from outside of Maharashtra should reach out to Tanushree (Bride) for details on accommodation and transport.

25th December, guests will be provided accommodation at Oleander Farms in Karjat where the wedding will be hosted by Lahiry-Gadgils

26-29th December, guests staying back to attend the reception on the 29th should arrange stay in Mumbai (refer to Q+A section for ‘What to see in Mumbai?’

Transportation -

Uber, Ola or Taxi are on-hire cars via mobile apps. Please be careful and vigilant of your belongings. Mumbai Local trains can be an overwhelming experience, be mindful of the local community and respect their way of life. You can also hire a car from the hotel you will be staying at.

We will arrange a bus to go to and come back from Oleander Farms in Karjat from three locations - 1. Greeshma Residency, Thane 2. Runwal Greens, Mulund 3. Ibis Hotel, Thane

Timeline -

Guests should plan on arriving in Mumbai by 24th of December. Attending the first event (Mehendi) is optional, the event will be held in Mumbai, followed by Cocktail night at Ibis Hotel in Thane.

If you decide to join us later on the 25th, we will book travel to Olander Farms on 25th December in the morning at 11am from Mumbai and will return to same locations on the 26th December by 5pm.

We will have buses departing the following locations below to Oleander Farms in Karjat (approximately 1.5 hrs from Mumbai) for events on 25th and 26th of December. The Lahiry-Gadgil family will arrange accommodation and guests can check in at a dedicated counter of the resort.

For reception, the guests who choose to attend should book accommodation in Mumbai and arrange travel to Taj The Trees in Vikhroli for the evening event. Guests can choose to stay at Taj The Trees as well.
