Our Wedding

Our story began when Tanvi decided to move to San Diego three years ago, eager to start a new chapter in life. Not knowing many people in the area, she decided to try out a dating app, hoping to make some connections. Two years earlier, Everett had moved from New York, looking to explore everything that sunny San Diego has to offer. One evening, Everett came across Tanvi's profile and was immediately charmed. Before Tanvi could get fully settled into her new apartment, we had matched and scheduled our first date on July 9, 2022 at a charming cocktail bar. Little did we know, a simple swipe would lead to something so much more. As Tanvi walked into the bar, Everett was immediately drawn to her beautiful smile. Our conversation took off quickly - we bonded over our Chicago roots and shared love of the beach. Our chemistry was undeniable, and we found ourselves spending hours talking, laughing, and discovering just how much we had in common. We both realized that moving to San Diego had led us to something truly special. Our relationship quickly blossomed, and we began building a life together - one that soon included our lovable dog, Rafa. We created new memories together full of love, laughter, and new adventures. One of our biggest adventures took us to Croatia last fall. It was there, amidst the clear blue waters, that Everett got down on one knee and proposed, marking the beginning of the next chapter of our lives. From a chance encounter on a dating app to a life built on shared experiences and a love that feels like home, we're beyond excited to begin this next chapter together. We can't wait to celebrate our story with all of you on our big day!

Nathan Paitchel

Best Man

Everett's twin brother and closest friend, Nate, has literally been with Everett since birth through every major milestone of his life. Growing up, they were inseparable, sharing bedrooms for most of their childhood, playing sports and teasing their younger sister, Hannah. They continue to talk daily, despite living 3,000 miles apart and share a bond that only twin brothers can have together. Everett is thrilled to have Nate stand by his side on such a special day and couldn't imagine his wedding without him as his best man.

Shivani Klauer

Maid of Honor

Shivani is Tanvi's sister and built in bestie from day one. Growing up, they shared everything—their bedroom, clothes, and countless secrets. They were always each other's partner in crime, whether they were teaming up against their parents or safeguarding their secret stash of snacks in their room. They always had each other's backs in ways only sisters can and knew how to get each other into (and out of!) trouble. Tanvi has always looked up to Shivani for her sisterly advice over the years, whether it was for fashion guidance, picking the right college, or her medical expertise. Tanvi and Shivani especially enjoyed the time they both lived in Chicago, when they were able to meet for weekly dinners and stop by each other's apartments on a whim. Tanvi can't imagine her wedding day without her sister, and now maid of honor, standing by her side!

Rob Ayers

Groomsman

Rob "Bobby Ray" Ayers is Everett's best friend since college. Meeting at orientation before school began, Rob and Everett became Facebook friends, as one did back in 2009. Upon moving into the dorms, they quickly reconnected, and their friendship flourished. Roommates during part of their university tenure, they navigated college life together. Rob and Everett have been there for the most formative years of their lives. Their close friendship continues to this day as Everett considers Rob his best friend, biggest supporter, role model and now groomsman.

Nora Peterson

Bridesmaid

Nora is Tanvi's oldest friend - they met during first grade and have been inseparable ever since. They are each other's "ocean" and understand each other in a way that only a best friend can. They have been there for each other through every major milestone, growing together and supporting one another along the way. Their lifelong friendship consists of unforgettable memories, including dance parties in their childhood bedrooms, visiting one another at each other's colleges, and traveling through Spain and India together. Nora has been with Tanvi through it all and Tanvi is so grateful to have her best friend, and now bridesmaid, by her side on such an important day!

Rob Pappagianopoulos

Despite Rob and Everett living a few houses away from each other for most of high school, they didn't meet until a chance encounter at the University of New Hampshire. Everett was introduced to Rob during their freshman year through his brother Nate. That summer, discovering that the neighbor down the street wasn't all that bad, they found themselves quickly becoming very close friends and hanging out on a daily basis. During Everett's time in New York, Rob loved visiting him to explore the city and of course play beer die on various rooftops. Rob continues to be one of Everett's closest friends to this day.

Maura Kenney

Tanvi and Maura met their junior year of college while studying abroad in Australia and immediately hit it off. They spent every moment of their time abroad together, whether it was sunbathing at the beach, dancing the night away at their favorite nightclub, or watching the new episode of Pretty Little Liars (a big deal back then!) together. When Maura's (now) husband, came to visit, they even allowed him to be their third wheel! Even though they only were able to live in the same city during their time abroad, they have been best friends over the past 12 years!

Ryan Ormsby

Friends since high school, Ryan is one of Everett's oldest friends. They met when Everett's family moved to New Hampshire in 2005. Upon discovering Ryan's fun-loving personality, he quickly became somebody that Everett knew he wanted to be around. When Ryan moved to San Diego after college, Everett flew out to visit his friend in California. It was then that he fell in love with the city and knew that he too wanted to move there one day. Even though Ryan now lives in Arizona, they remain close to this day, frequently chatting over Xbox and sharing their love for golf. Ryan can even convince Everett to camp off the grid on occasion for some unforgettable weekends at various National Parks.

Tara Baumgartner

Tanvi and Tara met during their internship in Chicago the summer after junior year and eventually landed their first jobs out of college at the same firm. They quickly became best friends, as they spent most of their time together exploring life in the city, which often included dancing the night away at their favorite reggae bar. When Tara moved to a new company, Tanvi followed soon after, as she wasn't quite ready to let go of working with her bestie. Over the years, they not only shared a career journey, but also some of the most unforgettable travel adventures. From enjoying gelato in Italy, wandering the streets of Paris, hiking the breathtaking views of Peru, to soaking in the beauty of Santorini, they created so many memories together across the world. Tanvi is so excited to celebrate her special day with Tara by her side!

Rohan Patel

Rohan and Everett met freshman year of college, living two doors down from each other in the dorms. Discovering that had multiple classes together too, they quickly began spending a lot of time together. "Who is this loud New Yorker", Everett thought to himself, noticing that Rohan was always the life of every conversation he was a part of. Upon becoming roommates the next year, their friendship blossomed to a close brotherhood. Through many adventures in college and New York City, they continue that bond to today.

Onya Edwards

One of Tanvi's favorite "meet cute" stories, Tanvi and Onya met in Chicago while they were both out at brunch with a different friend. As they happened to be sitting at the table next to each other, they somehow got to chatting, hit it off, and added one another on Instagram. Although they bumped into each other again a few times after that brunch, they didn't reconnect until three years later. After feeling cooped up from the pandemic, Tanvi decided to reach out to Onya over Instagram. A few days later, they went out to dinner and discovered they had absolutely everything in common. From that moment forward, they became immediate best friends. Tanvi feels incredibly lucky for that chance encounter, as it led to her meeting one of her very best friends!

Joey Annunziata

Introduced to Everett through Rohan, enters Joey, another loud New Yorker and close college friend. Joey and Everett became roommates their third year of college and quickly turned from acquaintances to close friends through bonding over Cappy's pizza and the daytime Maury TV. Joey's humor and good nature have kept them close through many of life's great experiences. Despite Joey's hatred for all sport teams Everett loves, they have remained close friends today.

Lizzy Westrope

Lizzy is one of Tanvi's earliest friends from when she first moved to Chicago. Having met through mutual friends, they enjoyed many summer boat days together out on Lake Michigan and grew close very quickly. Lizzy and Tanvi have a shared love of vegetarian food, Love is Blind, and zinfandels. Lizzy has always been one of the most kind and thoughtful friends and Tanvi feels incredibly lucky to have her as bridesmaid!

Jeremy Han

If two weren't enough, Everett found a third loud New Yorker that he became very close with during his college years. Known as the life of every party, Everett was drawn to Jeremy from the moment they met, and they connected right away. Despite rarely living in the same city as each other throughout college and after, due to various internships and careers, they stayed close. Jeremy's cheerful attitude and joyous laugh could light up a room and Everett is excited to have him stand by his side on his wedding day.

Hannah Paitchel

Hannah is not only Tanvi's sister-in-law-to-be, but she's also become a dear friend. Hannah's warmth, kindness, and welcoming nature has made Tanvi feel like she is part of the Paitchel family before making it official. Tanvi especially cherishes the time they both lived in Southern California and got to enjoy dinners together at their favorite Italian restaurant, Elephante. Tanvi feels lucky to be gaining a new sister and can't wait to continue making memories together!

Gabby Kane

Introduced to Tanvi through working in the same industry, Gabby is one of Tanvi's closest friends and previous coworkers from Chicago. Tanvi and Gabby share many fond memories of their time together both while living in Chicago and while visiting one another after they had moved to their new respective cities. During one of Tanvi's visits to Miami, where Gabby had moved, Gabby offered Tanvi the encouragement she needed in order to make a big move herself to San Diego. Gabby has always been a supportive voice and reliable friend to lean on and Tanvi can't imagine her wedding day without Gabby!

Amanda Nelson

Tanvi met Amanda while on a work trip in Louisville and it was friendship at first sight! They both worked at Humana and were out at a baseball game with their mutual coworker/friend. After discovering that Tanvi lived in Chicago, Amanda mentioned that she really wanted to move there. Luckily for both of them, Amanda decided to make the move and transferred to Humana's Chicago office! Tanvi immediately befriended her and they became best friends. They spent many evenings quizzing each other for their actuarial exams and enjoyed "skip days" together where they took the day off from work to enjoy lounging by the pool, drinking wine, and binging new seasons of the show "You." Tanvi is so excited to have Amanda stand by her side as her bridesmaid on such a special day!

Michael DeMasco

Michael has known Tanvi and Everett since the early days of their relationship. As one of Everett's closest friends in San Diego, Everett introduced Tanvi to Mike on their fifth date during a beach day with friends. Coincidentally, Tanvi and Everett's first home together was across the street from Mike and his family, which led to an even closer bond through frequent get-togethers. Sadly, Mike abandoned them by moving home to New Hampshire, but not before becoming Tanvi and Everett's roommate for a few weeks. They're so thrilled to have Mike officiate their wedding, as he is one of the few people who has gotten to see their relationship grow from its inception.
