Tanya works at Ochsner with Luke's brother, Larry. Sitting at work one day, Tanya was telling stories of all of her failed dating experiences. That's when Larry mentioned that he has a single brother. Now, if you don't know Larry, he is literally the kindest human being ever (and not bad looking). Tanya thought, "if he's anything like Larry, it's worth a shot."

Larry sent Luke a text message letting him know that he has a coworker that he would like to set him up on a date with. Unfortunately, Luke had just gotten into a relationship and was no longer available. Fast forward 3 months and all of a sudden Tanya started getting notifications of Luke Langlois "liking" facebook photos of her. Tanya decided to reach out to him and send him a facebook message. Luke was back on the market!!!

Luke and Tanya went on their first date 4 days later. They both immediately felt the chemistry. It was palpable. Additional dates followed and they've been inseparable ever since. A few months later, they joined their families in one household and Ava joined Marley and Maddie at their school.

After two years of dating, Luke, Tanya and the girls took a trip to Wisconsin to visit Tanya's family. During their trip, they had planned to have family pictures taken with Tanya's entire family. It was during the photoshoot on January 1, 2024 that Luke got down on one knee and asked Tanya to spend forever with him in front of her whole family.

Their journey was not a typical one and some could argue it was a bit out of order. They took risks and put a lot of faith in each other and the unknown future. but it's their journey and it's led them to decide on forever!

Tanya and Luke could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of their life together, and are so excited to celebrate their true love with family and friends on 04/05/2025.
