Our story began at the construction site of Sehome High School in 2018. Guy had been working as an electrician for Veca and Tanya was hired to be the project engineer for the job. Guy was pretty dang excited when he saw who the new hire was, but was quickly warned from his boss to "stay away from her" so there wouldn't be any job site shenanigans going on. The pursuit was quickly on!
As Tanya and Guy worked together, Guy asked a lot of questions that Tanya could help him with (mostly how to do anything on a computer). He was very quiet and surprisingly shy around her. Tanya thought he was very cute but was pretty confused on if he liked her or not.
Guy and Tanya hung out a few times after work events, but he finally asked her on a proper date and the rest was history.
We dated "secretly" at work for 6 months until our bosses found out. Thankfully neither of us got fired from our jobs and now we are getting married!!

Guy had each electrician on the job line up and bring Tanya a rose one by one for Valentine's day. No one knew we were secretly dating yet so this was his way of being her valentine.

Tanya won Guy's heart over by taking him to a Packer's game at Lambeau field (a bucket list dream for him) for his Christmas gift the first year they were dating. Things were progressing and love was definitely in the air!

Backpacking trips into Chain Lakes became a yearly thing. This is the place where Guy (finally) said he loved Tanya. She was holding out for him to say it first before she would.

Tanya and Guy took advantage of covid times by going on a lot of camping trips. They went on a road trip through Bend, Crater Lake and ending on Oregon coast and got clever by "staying in the US" by going to the US Virgin Islands.

Joey boy's first night at home with us! We met and adopted Joey from rumyhuman and quickly fell in love. Our spunky boy has brought us so much joy. We love him so much and he is very spoiled!

Another backpacking adventure to Chain Lakes ended up being a very special one. In the exact same spot where he told her he loved her, he asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him. He couldn't get out any words but between the happy tears and shiny proposition, she said, "YES!" Here we are now!
