Destiny brought John and Tara together in the city of Vancouver in 2017 where they met on September 17th, 2017 while working side by side at Gotham Steak House and Cocktail Bar.

Their first date was on December 13th, 2017 and marked the beginning of a shift from colleagues to companions from that day forward. They moved in together in the Fall of 2018 and welcomed their first four-legged family member, Ernie the Bernie in April of 2019.

Now after a total of 5 moves, including one cross country move from John’s hometown of Vancouver BC to Tara’s hometown of London ON, countless date nights, and two more furry canine companions later (Aspen and Teddy) Tara and John are ready to take the next step on June 30th, 2024 only a mere 2391 days after their first date!

They’re absolutely thrilled to have you share in their joyous occasion and look forward to celebrating with you!
