Tara grew up in the quaint town of Churchville, Virginia, & after graduating, she couldn't wait to pursue her own path. In 2022, she made the move to Richmond, Virginia - a city that Garrett has called home his entire life. It was there, through a mutual friend, that their paths crossed for the first time. The connection between them was undeniable. Both Tara and Garrett would later describe that moment as nothing short of love at first sight.

Despite the strength of their bond, Tara wasn’t in the right place to commit to something lasting. After a few months together, they parted ways. Even as time passed, Garrett was never far from her thoughts, but she trusted that God was still at work. Four months later, with a clearer heart and a deep sense of peace, Tara felt ready to settle down. She reached out to Garrett, and in God’s perfect timing, they were back in each other’s lives.

Fast forward to July 21st, 2024: During the Hobbs’ family vacation, Garrett took the biggest leap yet. Surrounded by their loved ones, he got down on one knee and asked Tara to spend forever with him. It was a moment filled with love, faith, and the undeniable feeling that God’s hand had guided them to this point.
