Tara & Chad 'met' on a dating app in March of 2021. Their relationship started as most online-ships start, with a lot of texting, calls and Facetimes. Chad attempted to plan multiple dates for them to finally meet in person after tons of late-night phone calls and all day texts about their lives and interests. They finally decided to go to a Nuggets game together towards the end of March. Chad bought tickets for them to go and then.... the day of, Tara's babysitter fell through and she could no longer attend, so Chad took his sister and sent Tara Snapchats all night of what she was missing.

The weeks went on and things started to fizzle out as most things do when your relationship is trying to form over electronics. As Chad would say, Tara ghosted him. Tara, would tell her own version: "she just got busy!"

Fast forward to June 26, 2021. Tara attended the Greeley stampede with her family as a Father’s Day gift to her dad. They were sitting and enjoying the rodeo as Tara searched the crowd to people watch as she normally does, when what to her surprise she spotted a Tall, Tan and handsome mullet man walking up the stairs with two beers in his hand. She would recognize that mullet anywhere. She was certain it was Chad. She immediately sent him a snapchat and asked him if he was at stampede. He responded a few moments later and said "yeah, why? are you?" She stood up, waved her hands at him and they finally saw each other IN PERSON for the first time. Chad told Tara to meet him down at the beer tent and he would buy her a drink. He was also with his family. She agreed and they had their first in person mini date at the beer stand during the rodeo. The remainder of the day and the days thereafter, they kept snapping and texting each other. As the weeks went on, again, their talking became more infrequent, and they still didn't make plans to meet up again after that day. They chatted here and there but nothing came about.
