Please RSVP by August 1st, 2024.
RSVP details will become available on our site once our invitations have been sent out. This may seem like an early deadline, but we have many out of town guests and would like to guarantee necessary accommodations ahead of time.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Any guests, whether they are a plus one or children, will be listed on our wedding invitations.
What is the dress code for our wedding?
Dressy Casual to Formal Attire.
This could mean anything from a nice sundress to a cocktail dress/pantsuit or a light dress shirt with khakis to a full suit. We are sending out our color palette with our invitations if you wish to dress to our theme, but you are welcome to wear whatever you are most confident in!
Will our wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors on the lakefront of Lake Walden (weather permitting) and the reception will take place inside a climate controlled, weatherproof tent. Michigan weather can be unpredictable, especially as the season is transitioning from Summer to Fall, so a light sweater or jacket may be desired later in the night.
What type of food will be served at our wedding?
We will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet style dinner and, of course, dessert.
The main entrees will be meat dishes, but accommodations are available for dietary restrictions such as allergies and vegan/vegetarian diets; such accommodations will be requested via your RSVP.
Will there be an open bar?
Drinks are on us! Anyone wishing to partake may notify us via their RSVP and for those who would rather not, there will be a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available. While it is not a cash bar, tipping your bartender is always encouraged!
Please plan for safe travel accommodations if you wish to indulge.
