At the end of 2016, after the sudden loss of her daughter, a failed marriage, and the rejection of her childhood faith, Tara moved to Boise and started over in life from a very low place. God tenderly met her there and patiently led her into a genuine and intimate walk with Jesus. She re-surrendered her life to God and was baptized in 2019. God surrounded her with loving family, friends, and church family. This welcoming community encouraged and supported her through rebuilding her and her childrens lives from the ashes of despair onto the sure foundation of Jesus’s love.

Will’s journey of faith began in 2017, when God pulled him out of a dark place and into the light of His grace. For two years, he immersed himself in Scripture, growing in faith and understanding. In 2019, he took the next step and was baptized. His journey led him through different church communities, where he formed lasting friendships and deepened his commitment to prayer and discipleship. One of those friendships was with a man who had been faithfully praying for years that God would bring his wife’s sister—Tara—a godly husband.

In God’s perfect timing, those prayers were answered. When Tara and Will met, it was clear that God had opened this door in both of their hearts. They quickly discovered a shared love for Jesus, a passion for healing and restoration, and a commitment to prayer and serving God. On December 21, 2024, Will asked Tara to be his wife—and rumor has it, she said yes!

Their story is one of redemption, faith, and God’s perfect plan. As they step into this new chapter together, they do so with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that every step of their journey has been and will be guided by His hand.
