Tara and Ben met on a night out in Brixton and swapped numbers after a few drinks and chats.
Fast forward a couple of months and both Tara and Ben were invited to celebrate their friend's birthday in Bucharest - both sure now it was a plot to get them together. They hit it off straight away and stayed out into the early hours of the night dancing and chatting - even climbing through a window of a bar to get in as they couldn't find the front door.
Throughout the weekend they got to know each other better and better and realised they were a great match - it was destined to be as although they booked the flights back separately, they were sat next to other through pure chance and luck - it was a flight that seemed to last minutes as all they did was talk and laugh throughout.
The following months were spent talking and going on dates, which were so much fun. It was then that Tara and Ben decided to go on their first real, romantic holiday together to Portugal.
They arrived in Lisbon with great plans for the following days. However, on the first night Tara was just feet away from the hotel entrance when she tripped on her heel. Thinking it was just a sprain Ben carried Tara to the room to rest. Ben woke up in the middle of the night to find Tara crawling on the floor and in severe pain. A swift trip to A&E actually showed to be a severe fracture that they wanted to operate on right away. After some convincing, it was agreed that she could have her leg put into a cast and no operation was needed for the time being. The rest of the holiday was sat in cafes eating and people watching, while again giving Tara and Ben the perfect opportunity to get to know each other even better.
On arrival home, Ben decided that he should move in with Tara to help look after her was she was in a cast....he never left!!
After a few more years, Ben finally built up the courage to ask Tara to marry him. He organised a romantic trip to Bulgaria. There were plans in place and he knew how he wanted to propose and what he wanted to say. While carrying the ring with him throughout the day, all the plans seemed to not be quite right (the beach, it was raining), (a nice restaurant - all were closed) - a day of panic for Ben.
After finally arriving back to the hotel room, while having a drink, Ben forgot to get down on one knee and blurted out 'Will you marry me?' Tara was speechless, as was Ben as he had completely forgotten everything he wanted to say! Thankfully for all, Tara said yes.
In between this time and the date of the wedding, so many things have happened. Most importantly was the birth of Tara and Ben's stunning son, Kealan - the best thing that they have ever done together.
Tara and Ben have now moved to Dorking and they thought that this new chapter in their life would be the perfect place and setting to finally get married.
Tara and Ben can't wait to celebrate this time with all of their family and friends - where there will surely be tears (hopefully of joy), laughter, dancing and above all else a lot of fun!
