It all began in the fall of 2018, when Brady was working at Domino’s in Roxborough alongside Tara’s cousin, Kristin. Who knew that pizza would lead to forever? What started as a simple connection quickly grew into a strong friendship—one that stuck through life’s twists and turns.

Over the years, we supported each other through life’s ups and downs, always staying close, always finding our way back to one another. Eventually, it became clear: our separate paths were merging into one.

At first, we said we would take things slow—but once we realized we were headed in the same direction, it was full throttle from there. Shortly, thereafter we moved into our first place together.

The next two years were full of unforgettable moments—joy, laughter, love, and even heartbreak. But through it all, we grew stronger, closer, and more certain than ever that this was it. This was forever.

What Tara didn’t know was that Brady had known for a while—and had already started planning for forever. While Tara was out of town, Brady took her parents to dinner to ask for their blessing. It was supposed to be a secret… but let’s just say everyone but Tara was in on it!

Christmas Eve 2024, everything came together. With Tara’s sister Amber and nephew Brady helping set the scene at Philip S. Miller Park—right by a peaceful little pond—Brady got down on one knee.

Brady: “I love you. Will you marry me?”

Tara: “Yes.”

...and the journey continues with our little family—Buddy and Garfield included—figuring out life one step at a time, surrounded by love, laughter, and the amazing people who helped bring us here today.
