Our story began on a serendipitous night at Shellback Tavern in Manhattan Beach. Tara, reluctantly out with friends, had already booked an Uber home and was not looking to meet anyone new. Meanwhile, Tyler and his friend Aharon, against their initial plans, found themselves at the same bar.

It was Taras friend who insisted she meet Tyler after a brief conversation she had with him at the bar. When they met, sparks flew instantly - albeit in the form of a spirited debate about hockey and whether Auston Matthews was part Mexican. Tara confidently asserted her viewpoint, declaring victory and playfully challenging Tyler to buy her a Fanta shot.

Later that evening, Tyler left to go home with his roommate in an Uber, but something drew him back. He returned to Shellback Tavern and asked Tara if she'd spend more time with him if he stayed. The night unfolded in laughter, and Tara, unable to recall his name, humorously dubbed him "Mr. Rodgers" due to his cardigan.

The next day, Tara confidently told a mutual friend that she had met her future husband. They began talking daily, despite Tara traveling extensively. Tyler, respecting Tara's playful demand for a written invitation, sent her a docusign agreement to officially ask her out to dinner.
