We are so excited to be getting married in Ireland, but understand that it can be a logistical nightmare to get married in another country. We have various accommodations, travel tips, and transportation options on this page. We can't wait to celebrate with you all in Dublin!

Barberstown Castle

Barberstown Castle is our wedding venue. It is a castle (duh!) from the 13th century and additions have been built on since then. Most of the rooms in our block will be occupied by immediate family and the wedding party.

What about the ETIAS European Visa?

Thankfully it looks as though the requirement for the ETIAS visa has been pushed back to 2025. We will be updating this page accordingly if there are any changes announced.

This hotel is about 4 miles (8 minute drive) away from Barberstown Castle. On a quick online search, rates start from €150.

There are a variety of other hotels in the area. Barberstown Castle is only about 20-30 minutes away from Dublin (closest to the western aspect) so staying in Dublin and taking a cab/ubering is feasible. The towns closest to the venue are Straffan, Maynooth, and Celbridge.
