Your invitation comes with a free day pass to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. You must pick up the ticket at willcall prior to the wedding to enter the park. There will be an attendant at a table by the turn styles before you enter the park that will be able to provide you with your tickets. Or you may acquire them from general ticket sales as early as 9:00 am on the day of the wedding.

No! Show the parking attendant the parking voucher found in the "SD Zoo Information" section of this site.

Attire is semi-casual. Men can wear khakis or slacks with a button up or polo. Women can don anything from a mid- to knee-length skirt or dress. Something you'd wear to Easter or a babyshower. Please no jeans!

If you feel like busting a move, we encourage it but there will be no formal dancing! We will be relaxing, eating, and hanging with the animals! Board games will be provided

Finally, if you plan on leaving your car overnight - please make a note of where you parked and let the staff know when you check in. The park recommends picking up your car by 8:00 am the next morning to avoid paying any parking fees.

Yes! We encourage it. The park closes at 5 but will allow us to continue the celebration into the evening. However, that means you must see the animals before the ceremony. You will have full access to the park including a ticket for the Africa Tram. Before the wedding, feel free to spend the day exploring the Serengeti, trying to find the entire cast of the Lion King, or watch elephants play in Elephant Valley. If you’re up for some more exciting adventures, the Park offers some amazing additional experiences like heading up in a hot air balloon. These experiences can be purchased at the park or online ahead of time at a discount here: https://sdzsafaripark.org/view-all-safaris Around 4:00pm wander over to the Mombasa Lagoon Overlook for our wedding. The ceremony and reception will both be held at this location.
