May of 2018 is when it all began. We met at the most romantic place you could possibly imagine…Tinder. I was helping a friend move in to my apartment that summer. We just finished packing up the rest of her things and were taking a short break. I was scrolling through my Tinder notifications and saw that this guy had swiped right on my name/pic. Curious, I clicked on his profile to look at his pictures and read about him. He didn’t have much in his profile, deciding to take a chance, I swiped right too! Next thing I know, there was a message from him, he sent me a Forest Gump gif waving “hi!” I thought it was weird at first, but then decided to play along with it. In return I sent him a gif of Deadpool waving “hi!” After some flirty banter, he decided “I didn’t sound too murder-y” and thought we should meet for drinks! The rest is history!

At some point, Nick had mentioned that one of his goals was to buy a house. I had asked him what kind of houses he was looking at or what he liked. He started to show me a couple of houses on Zillow that he had liked, but he never messaged the agent about them. Just for kicks and giggles, I decided to send a message to the relator for him. Before I knew it, we were officially looking at houses together!

We had found a couple that we really liked, but unfortunately they did not work out. I was starting to think that we were going to have to give up some of the certain characteristics we were looking for; but not long after we found one! We set up a viewing, put in an offer, had it inspected, and all of a sudden it was ours!

Since then, we have added three wonderful fur babies into our lives. We have two Siberian huskies and one Malamute. They definitely keep us on our toes! The last three years have been filled with fun, random adventures; getting each other to try new things; and lots of date nights! We wouldn't trade the last three years for anything, we are so excited to start a new chapter together and share it with all of you!
