Tara & Michael's story starts on June 29, 2017 in Cold Spring, NY. Tara was bartending during her summer break from college and Michael was a volunteer next door at the Firehouse. Mutual friends of theirs were convinced that the two of them would hit it off. So Michael, very nervously, introduced himself and asked her on a first date... bowling (she wasn't impressed).

Shortly after, Tara was headed to London for a semester abroad; however, the distance only made them closer. The two fell asleep on the phone together almost every night and Michael even flew across the pond to spend some time there! Upon her return, the two were inseparable. Michael made his way to the Bronx at least 3 days a week and was always eager to hangout with Tara and her friends, no matter what their plans were (and he always cleaned their dishes).

After Tara graduated from Fordham University in the spring of 2019, the two moved in together. They both work in Manhattan, often commuting together - her as an Internal Auditor and him an Electrician. When they're not working, Tara spends time on the Peloton or watching football and Michael... well he goes back to work. They also spend a lot of time with their two golden retrievers, Lexi and Harlee. The two love their dogs so much that Michael proposed on Lexi's birthday in 2022!

Tara and Michael are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and celebrate their love with you all on October 26, 2024.
