It was a chilly night in the fall of 2016, I was enjoying myself with long-time friends at my

buddy’s family farm. It was just another Friday night with friends, just like so many good times we had

had in the past. However, that would all change in the blink of an eye, when a girl from school walked in

the door and behind her was most beautiful, blonde-haired woman that none of us had ever seen. I was

instantly in shock. I thought to myself, why would such a beautiful girl come out to this horse farm to

hangout with a bunch of hillbillies from Page High School? Nonetheless, I knew at that moment she was

the one I wanted in my life. It almost seemed as if everything was moving in slow motion, especially her,

as she walked with a style and grace that was mesmerizing. Then I noticed she had crutches and was

wearing a cast on her foot. Still, I knew I would have to play it cool to have a shot at this one. As

everyone rushed to introduced themselves, I sat back and acted like I never saw her walk in the door. I

continued to play a game of billiards, calm, cool and collected. I set the trap and hoped it would play in

my favor. As time passed and we got to know each other she finally decided to take the bait. She

walked right to me, said “who might you be?” and that’s all she wrote folks.
