It's crazy to think that two people who were destined to fall in love, grew up just 20 minutes away from each other. Skylar spent his early childhood moving around to follow his dad's work. When he turned 13, it was decided that their roots would be planted in Shellbrook. Taralyn was born and raised just 36km down the road in Leask. Now, if you ask Skylar, he'll tell you he was smitten for Taralyn and admired from afar at the Shellbrook Hockey Rink.Growing up knowing of each other, would be the start of forever.It was not until 26 years of age that their paths would cross and their love story would unfold.A girl with a love for Caesars, determined to discover what brand of caesar Skylar had posted while ice fishing, and a boy who never let the conversation end, couldn't have known that life had aligned their story just perfectly.It was from here on that Skylar would continue to visit Taralyn's work and a friendship would develop.Conversations that would just never end, late night board games until the sun came up, hours of laughter, and our worlds truly becoming one.
