Our love story began in Simi Valley, back in 2015.

Michael was a regular customer at Cronies Sports Grill, where Taryn served him ice cold schooners of beer.

At the time both of them were in relationships, but they caught one another’s eye. Over the next year, they bonded over their love of sports, especially hockey. Michael liked that he could talk hockey with her and she actually knew what she was talking about.

(That scored her lots of points!)

At last, they were both single!

Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth for weeks. A coworker of Taryn’s took it upon herself to play matchmaker and help move things along. Finally they made plans to hang out outside of Cronies for the first time. They got a group of friends together and went to a King’s game, duh! They had their first date at lazy dog a week later and the rest is history!

Four years worth of memories later and many King’s games, we’ve rented a house together and introduced a new furry pup to our family. A few months ago while the sun was setting on a beach in Ventura, Michael finally popped the question and Taryn said yes!

We can’t wait for this new chapter of our life to begin!
