We met in a yoga class at Sehome High School in Bellingham… which is ironic, because neither of us has done yoga since. Somehow, though, it worked and we’ve been together ever since.

Jack graduated first and headed to Central Washington University for Construction Management. A year later, Taryn followed for Elementary Education. Along the way, we added our dog Loki to the mix, who quickly became the favorite (and most spoiled) member of the family. Somewhere between school, work, and life, we also decided it would be a great idea to start building a little rental empire in Ellensburg, because why not add that to the chaos?

Most of our favorite memories are the simple ones, loading up the Jeep and heading into the mountains, boating on the Columbia, and spending summer days at the sandbar. Camping with friends has become one of our favorite traditions: late nights, good food, and Loki trying to convince everyone he deserves extra snacks.

We’ve pretty much grown up together through school, moves, new jobs, and everything in between. What started in a random high school class somehow turned into building a life together with our favorite third wheel, Loki.

We’re so excited for what’s next; mostly, we just can’t wait to celebrate with all the people who’ve been part of our story.
